The Lodge
Author: Gwen Pharis Ringwood
Season: 2017-18
Set in the Cariboo/Chilcotin in the 1970s, “The Lodge” tells the story of three generations of a family as they gather to celebrate their artist-grandmother’s birthday. As the family reconnects, the friction caused by their differing attitudes toward life goals and developmental stages makes for hilarious and touching moments of self-discovery and shared change. Audiences will recognize some social issues as yet not fully resolved decades later.
